Prehospital emergency care is urgent and difficult because the condition of the patients deteriorated rapidly, coupled with strange first aid location, and the unpredictable treatment environment. Scientific, rapid and effective first aid measures are an essential means to reduce the disability rate and mortality rate.

With its small size, easy operation, practicality, and clear imaging, the handheld ultrasound machine SonoEye helps doctors evaluate the patient's physical condition in time. The SonoEye has been applied in prehospital emergency care in Asia, Europe, America, Latin America and other countries.

1) Quick Triage

SonoEye can be used in scenarios such as battlefields, natural disasters and traffic accidents. It can be used to judge whether there is closed injury, such as peritoneal effusion, pericardial effusion, pneumothorax and pleural hemorrhage. Through assessing the damage status of organs, doctors can triage and perform later rescue.

2) Pre-hospital Transport

Doctors can classify patients based on their vital information and determine how to send them and appropriate level of hospital.

Ultrasound solutions for pre-hospital care include:
FAST/EFAST for Trauma, BLUE for Lungs, and FEEL for Cardiac Resuscitation

The optimal first aid time for patients experiencing sudden death is about four minutes, while severe trauma patients require about thirty minutes. Skilled medical staff can complete a bedside ultrasound scan within three minutes, and SonoEye has an almost instantaneous start-up time, thus reducing diagnosis time. Due to its small size, SonoEye is particularly well-suited for use in ambulances and helicopters.

SonoEye supports 5G remote, and the ultrasound images collected on-site can be transmitted to the emergency center in real time where they can be interpreted by experienced professional physicians. Besides doctors in emergency center can prepare first aid solutions in time for patients.

CHISON will continue to promote the application of SonoEye in prehospital emergency care and assist doctors in making accurate diagnoses. Learn more about SonoEye models, please contact us: sonoeye@chison.com.cn
